Manage Your Inventory
How to update stock counts, configure low stock alerts, and handle out-of-stock products on shop.vyete.com.
Your inventory is organised into "sale spaces" in the shop console — one or more storefronts under your shop, each with its own product list. Keep stock counts accurate to avoid failed orders and disappointed customers.
Steps
Open a Sale Space
In your shop workspace sidebar, click Sale Spaces (/sale-spaces), then open the space you want to manage and go to its Products tab. All that space's products are listed here with their current stock counts.
Update a stock count
Click on a product to open its detail panel. Update the stockQuantity field to reflect your current stock. Click Save to apply. The change takes effect immediately on vyete.com.
Set a low stock threshold
On each product's detail panel, set a Low Stock Threshold value (e.g., 5). When your stock falls to or below this number, you'll receive an alert in the shop console and via notification so you can restock before running out.
Handle out-of-stock products
When a product's stockQuantity reaches zero, it is automatically marked as out-of-stock and hidden from customers on vyete.com. To make it available again, update the stockQuantity to a positive value and click Save.
Warning
If a customer places an order for a product and your stock count is inaccurate, you will need to reject the order, which negatively impacts your shop's rating. Keep stock counts updated in real time.
Tip
Set a low stock threshold that gives you enough time to restock before items sell out — typically 2–3 days worth of average daily sales.
Common questions
Q: Can I temporarily hide a product without deleting it?
A: Yes. On the product detail panel, toggle the Visible switch to off. The product is hidden from customers but remains in your inventory for when you're ready to make it available again.
Q: What happens to existing orders when I mark a product out-of-stock?
A: Orders already placed before the stock reached zero are not affected. Only new orders are blocked. Process existing orders normally.
