Understanding Your Earnings
How courier earnings are calculated on Vyete Ferry, including base pay, distance bonuses, and peak hour rates.
Your earnings for each completed delivery consist of a base pay, a distance bonus, and — during configured peak hours — an additional peak hours bonus. You can view a full breakdown by day, week, or month in the Earnings tab.
Steps
Open the Earnings tab
In the Ferry app bottom navigation, tap Earnings. The Earnings screen shows your total balance, recent payouts, and a list of individual delivery earnings.
Understand base pay
Every successfully completed delivery (status DELIVERED) earns a base pay — a fixed amount per delivery configured by Vyete for your zone. This is the guaranteed minimum you earn for each job regardless of distance.
Understand the distance bonus
A distance bonus is added on top of base pay based on the total route distance for the delivery (your starting point → shop → customer). Longer routes earn a higher bonus.
Check peak hours bonuses
During peak delivery windows (configured per geo zone — typically lunch hours, evening peak, and weekends), an additional peak hours bonus is applied. The Earnings tab shows which hours are currently peak in your zone.
View your earnings breakdown
Use the day/week/month toggle on the Earnings screen to see your earnings over different periods. Tap any individual delivery entry to see its full breakdown: base pay, distance bonus, and any peak bonus applied.
Note
Earnings are only credited for deliveries with a final status of DELIVERED. Failed deliveries may earn partial pay depending on the reason; cancelled acceptances earn nothing.
Tip
Going online during peak hours is the single most effective way to increase your daily earnings. Check the peak hours schedule in the Earnings tab before you start your shift.
Common questions
Q: Why does my estimated earnings on the job card sometimes differ from what I'm actually credited?
A: The job card shows an estimate based on the expected route at the time of dispatch. The actual credit is calculated on the real distance travelled, which may differ slightly due to route changes.
Q: Where do my earnings go after a delivery is completed?
A: Earnings are credited to your courier wallet within the Ferry app. They accumulate until you request a withdrawal to your registered bank account or mobile money wallet.
