Required Documents for Courier Verification
Which documents you need to upload during courier onboarding on Vyete Ferry.
All couriers must upload a National ID during onboarding. If you use a motorised vehicle — motorcycle, car, or van — a Driver's license is also required. All documents are submitted via in-app camera upload.
Steps
Prepare your National ID
Find your government-issued National ID card. You will need to photograph both the front and back of the card. Ensure the card is not expired and the text is fully legible.
Upload National ID front
In the Documents step of the onboarding wizard at /onboarding, tap Upload — ID Front. The camera will open. Take a clear photo of the front of your National ID or select an existing photo from your gallery. Make sure all four corners of the card are visible and there is no glare.
Upload National ID back
Tap Upload — ID Back and photograph the back of your National ID in the same way.
Upload Driver's license (motorised vehicles only)
If your selected vehicle type is MOTORCYCLE, CAR, or VAN, tap Upload — Driver's License and photograph the front of your valid Driver's license. This step does not appear if your vehicle type is BICYCLE.
Review and submit
Check that all uploaded images are clear and complete, then proceed to the Review step and tap Submit. If any image is rejected during admin review, you'll be notified and can reupload the specific document.
Warning
Blurry, cropped, or partially obscured document photos are the most common cause of verification delays or rejections. Take photos in good lighting and ensure the full card is visible in the frame.
Note
Documents are stored securely and used solely for identity verification purposes in accordance with Vyete's privacy policy. They are never shared with shops or customers.
Common questions
Q: My vehicle type is bicycle — do I still need a Driver's license?
A: No. A Driver's license is only required for motorised vehicle types: MOTORCYCLE, CAR, and VAN. Bicycle couriers only need a National ID (front and back).
Q: My document was rejected — how do I resubmit?
A: You'll receive a notification with the reason for rejection. Return to the Documents section in the Ferry app and tap Reupload next to the rejected document to submit a new photo.
