Understanding Your Feed

Person2 min

How the Home feed is organised on vyete.com — the Feed, Auctions, and Live tabs, and how Posts, Events, and Polls appear.

The Home section of vyete.com is organised into three tabs — Feed, Auctions, and Live — each showing a different type of content from the brands and shops on the platform.

The three Home tabs

Feed

The Feed tab is your main social timeline. It shows content posted by brands and shops you follow, mixed with recommended content from across the platform. Content in the Feed can be one of three types:

  • Posts — general updates, announcements, and stories from brands and shops.
  • Events — brand-run events with a date, time, and details. Tapping an event opens the full event page.
  • Polls — interactive polls run by brands to gather opinions or create engagement. Tap an option to vote.

All three content types appear together in the Feed tab in chronological order.

Auctions

The Auctions tab shows all currently active auctions from brands on Vyete — items and offerings up for bidding right now. Tap any auction to see details, place a bid, or watch the live bid feed. See How auctions work for a full guide.

Live

The Live tab is where live shopping streams from brands and shops will appear. This feature is coming soon.

Browsing Posts, Events, and Polls separately

On desktop, the left sidebar includes dedicated navigation links for Posts, Events, and Polls. Tap any of these to browse that specific content type on its own, without the other types mixed in.

On mobile, use the Feed tab for all content combined.

Bottom navigation (mobile)

The mobile bottom bar has five tabs:

| Tab | What it does | |---|---| | Feed | Opens Home (Feed / Auctions / Live tabs) | | Explore | Browse products and brands | | Tools | Platform utilities and tools | | Business | Shops, brands, and carriers | | Search | Search across the platform |

Common questions

Q: Why do I see content from brands I do not follow?

A: The Feed mixes content from accounts you follow with recommended content based on your interests and activity. You can adjust your interest categories in Settings to tune what you see.

Q: Can I filter the Feed to only show one content type?

A: On desktop, use the Posts, Events, or Polls links in the left sidebar to view each type separately. On mobile, the Feed tab shows all types combined.
