How to manage your profile, shopping preferences, and privacy controls from the Settings page on vyete.com.

The Settings page on vyete.com is where you manage your personal profile, shopping preferences, and privacy controls. Security and identity settings (password, two-factor authentication, email address) are handled at id.vyete.com.

Opening Settings

Tap your profile avatar in the top right corner of vyete.com and select Settings, or navigate directly to /settings.

Settings is organised into four tabs.

Profile tab

The Profile tab lets you update how you appear to others on Vyete:

  • Display name — the name shown on your profile and alongside your activity.
  • Bio — a short description about yourself, visible on your public profile.
  • Location — your general location, used to personalise local recommendations.

Tap Save after making changes.

Shopping tab

Controls that affect how you shop on Vyete:

  • Currency — your preferred display currency for prices across the platform. Options include KES, USD, EUR, GBP, NGN, GHS, UGX, and TZS.
  • Delivery addresses — tap Manage addresses to go to your saved delivery addresses in myhub. See Managing delivery addresses.

Privacy tab

Controls who can interact with you and what others can see on your profile. See the full guide: Privacy controls.

  • Follow gating — choose whether anyone can follow you or whether you must approve each request.
  • Direct message permissions — control who can send you direct messages.
  • Activity visibility — choose whether your recent activity is visible on your public profile.

Account tab

The Account tab provides links to security and identity management at id.vyete.com:

These actions require you to be signed in at id.vyete.com.

Note

Because all Vyete apps share a single identity (id.vyete.com), changing your password or email there updates it everywhere — vyete.com, shop.vyete.com, brand.vyete.com, and so on.

Common questions

Q: Where are my interest category preferences?

A: Interest categories are managed at id.vyete.com under Preferences. They influence the recommendations and personalised content you see on vyete.com.

Q: Can I have different settings for different Vyete apps?

A: Profile, shopping, and privacy settings are specific to your consumer account on vyete.com. Settings on shop.vyete.com or brand.vyete.com are managed separately within those apps.

Q: How do I delete my account?

A: Account deletion is available from the Account tab on the Settings page. This is a permanent action — see Delete your account for what is removed and how to request it.
