Registering for and Cancelling Events
How to register for a brand's event on Vyete, join an online event, and cancel a booking if your plans change.
Brands host events on Vyete, in person and online, and you can register for one directly from your feed without leaving the app.
Finding an event
Tap Events in the sidebar to browse everything currently open, or catch one in your Home feed when a brand you follow posts it. Tap an event card to open its full details.
Steps
Open the event and register
On the event page, tap Register for an in-person event or Join Event for an online one. If the brand set up an external registration link instead of using Vyete's own booking, this button opens that link rather than booking in-app.
Confirm your booking
Once registered, the page shows "Registered!" If the event has a ticket price and payment is still pending, a note explains that Vyete doesn't process ticket payment: you pay the host directly, the same way as any other purchase from a brand on Vyete.
Cancel if your plans change
Open your booking and tap Cancel Booking. A confirmation modal explains that cancelling releases your ticket back to the event; tap Cancel Booking again to confirm, or Keep Booking to back out.
Tip
If something goes wrong with an event you've booked, whether it's a payment issue or the event itself, you can raise a dispute from the booking the same way you would for an order. See Raising a dispute.
Common questions
Q: What's the difference between "Register" and "Join Event"?
A: Register is for in-person events, Join Event is for online ones. Both create the same kind of booking; only the label changes based on how the brand set the event up.
Q: Do I need to pay through Vyete to attend?
A: No. Vyete doesn't process event payments. If the event has a fee, you settle it directly with the host, and the booking's payment status updates once they mark it received.
Q: Can I cancel after I've already paid?
A: You can still cancel the booking itself, but any payment you already made to the host directly is between you and them, Vyete has no record of it to refund.
