How to complete the 5-step shop onboarding on shop.vyete.com to get your shop live.
Setting up your shop on shop.vyete.com takes you through a 5-step onboarding wizard. Complete all five steps to make your shop discoverable on vyete.com.
Steps
Basic information
Enter your shop's name, category (e.g., Fashion, Electronics, Food), and a short description. This information appears on your public shop profile on vyete.com.
Location
Enter your shop's physical address: city, country, and precise coordinates. Set a delivery radius (km) — only customers within this radius will see your shop in nearby search results. You can adjust the radius at any time from the shop's Settings.
Business hours
Set your opening and closing times for each day of the week. Toggle days off if your shop is closed. Customers see these hours on your shop profile and can't place orders outside them unless you enable pre-orders.
Profile media
Upload your shop logo (square, minimum 400×400 px recommended) and header image (landscape, shown at the top of your shop profile page). Both images appear immediately on your public profile after upload.
Add your first product
Add at least one product to activate your shop. Enter the product name, category, price (in KES as a decimal string, e.g., "1500.00"), stock quantity, and at least one image. Your shop goes live after this step.
Note
If you manage multiple shops under one account, use the shop switcher in the sidebar navigation header to move between shops. Each shop has its own Sale Spaces, orders, and settings.
Tip
Upload a clear, high-resolution logo and header image — these are the first things customers see when browsing shops on vyete.com. Good visuals significantly improve click-through rates.
Common questions
Q: Can I go back and edit any of the onboarding steps after finishing?
A: Yes. All information entered during onboarding can be updated later from the Settings section of your shop workspace at /settings.
Q: My shop is set up but not appearing on vyete.com — why?
A: Brand verification is separate from general visibility — request it per brand from Sale Spaces → Verification (/sale-spaces/verification) by uploading your business registration documents.
